The impeachment of former Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has been challenged and the court of Appeal ruled in favour of Gachagua.
The court said that the Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Muilu has no mandate to choose a bench of Judges to challenge the kind of case.
During the impeachment case, the mandated Chief Justice was out of the country and Her deputy decided to work on behalf.
This have brought the country in constitutional dilemma wondering whether Gachagua is still the D.P or otherwise.
